Happier, Healthier, and Active - Finally. I visited several senior living places and had always been attracted to Heisinger. For me, their main strengths are: faith-based, lifetime care available, and excellent staff of leadership and extended services. Being here, I am happier, healthier, and (by choice) active in many opportunities.
Six Years Later, Still the Best Decision We Made. We moved into Independent Living six years ago and are very happy and glad we did. The staff is excellent and most attentive. The facilities are great. And the activities are many and varied to fit anyone’s interests.
This Is Home—With a View of the River. We wanted to remain within the city limits with our apartment facing a view of the river. Heisinger Bluffs has a wonderful, courteous staff, always available to tend to any needs that may arise. We are one large family with a very friendly atmosphere. The community is clean, good food, and offers many varied activities and entertainment. You can be as busy as you choose to be or just relax. I am happy living at Heisinger Bluffs as my new home. All my needs are fulfilled.

“Heisinger Bluffs covers all three: a retirement home, assisted living, and nursing home. They’re like apartments—they have their own stove, microwave, and shared laundry. There’s always somebody coming in. I have a friend who plays the guitar and drums with his buddies, they have bingo, and social things going on. They have a beauty salon, a book exchange, and a puzzle exchange. The food is far superior. The staff is the greatest—they really care for the residents. For those that don’t need assistance, they still check on a regular basis, and they call them by name, whichever the resident prefers. I will end up there someday I’m sure.”

“I toured Heisinger Bluffs yesterday. It is a very clean home with lots of amenities. Very friendly staff and helpful also. The apartments are very spacious and have everything a person needs.
